This week we are praying and fasting for spiritual breakthrough for the church. Special prayer meetings all week.
Why are we praying and fasting?
On Sunday, Pastors Jason and Ruth asked us to fast and pray for breakthrough for the church (see video with announcement and message from Sunday if you missed it).
This past 12 months there have been many powerful prophecies spoken over this church. God has encouraged us, telling us this church will be a place of miracles, healing and transformation, and that we will see growth, expansion and provision over the church. A key part of many of the prophecies has been that the members, not just the leaders, of the church will rise up in the gifts of the spirit and in outreach, showing the love of God to people and introducing them to God.
Not unexpectedly, over this time we have also seen an increase in spiritual resistance and spiritual attack against the church and its members. Pastors Jason and Ruth feel it is time for the church to take action to break through spiritual opposition as a church and are asking everyone who identifies with this church to join in fasting and praying.

What are we praying for?
We are particularly praying for breakthrough in the areas of church health and growth, financial provision for the church, the gifts and manifestations of the Holy Spirit, and breaking intimidation, fear and doubt off of the members and leaders of the church.
Importantly, we aren’t just us asking for God to provide in each of these areas, we are claiming the authority we have as children of God and in the name of Jesus, and breaking spiritual opposition to this church. Jesus said no one can plunder a house without binding the strongman, and we need to bind the spiritual opposition we are facing in stepping out to reach this community.
What are we praying for?

Prayer meetings at church
This week we are holding prayer meetings every weekday 12-1pm, Thursday 6-7pm, and Friday and Saturday 7:30-8:30pm
